Privacy Policy
ScrollBump by Ondřej Vereš
Introduction
Thank you for using ScrollBump. Your privacy is important. This privacy policy explains what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used.
Information Collected
This app collects certain pseudonymous data linked to your device to ensure the app works correctly and to measure marketing performance. This data includes:
- Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, collected via Firebase Analytics.
- Identifiers: Device-specific identifiers (such as IDFV) used by the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure app installs from Instagram.
How the Data is Used
- App Stability: Crash data is used to identify and fix bugs.
- Analytics: Usage data helps us understand which features are most useful to improve the user experience.
- Ad Measurement: We use the Facebook SDK to measure the effectiveness of our own advertisements. We utilize Apple’s SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving attribution, which allows us to see that an install occurred without identifying you personally or tracking you across other companies' apps.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google): Used for analytics and crash reporting.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK: Used strictly for measuring the success of our Instagram advertising campaigns.
User Privacy & Tracking
ScrollBump does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Because we do not engage in "Tracking" as defined by Apple, we do not display the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. All data collected is used solely for internal analytics and to measure our own marketing performance.
The identifiers used are linked to your device to provide a consistent experience but are not linked to your real-world identity (such as your name or email) by this app.
